Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to understand application requirements and architecture and integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, leveraging tools like AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Develop and manage configuration management systems and tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, to automate server provisioning and management.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring solutions.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain best practices for security and compliance in the DevOps processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in DevOps administration, or software development roles.
- Strong experience with Linux Commands, Shell Scripting, Docker, MySQL Configuration, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar, are a plus.
