Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Shopify stores, including store layout and theme customization.
- Utilize Liquid coding to create and modify themes.
- Develop, integrate, and customize Shopify apps to enhance store functionality.
- Work with Shopify Theme 2.0 and manage Shopify Plus stores.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to store performance and functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features and best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Expertise in Liquid templating language.
- Familiarity with the Shopify API and experience in integrating third-party services.
- Understanding of SEO techniques and how they apply to e-commerce.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Shopify Plus stores.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
